Designer Lisa Hilland dreamt of creating furniture that combined both of her interests – fashion and design – in a self-evident manner. After a great deal of thought, she came up with the Torso chair designed for Design House Stockholm. The woven leather back is inspired by the traditional hunter chair and gently flirts with Swedish craft traditions. Torso is produced in Sweden as Lisa prefers the environmental aspects as well as the hands-on quality control of locally produced design. Made of powder coated or chrome steel, ash or oak veneer, with Italian leather. Measures 53cm (W) x 52cm (D) x 97cm (H). Seat height is 65cm.
